Strelitzia Ridge Shiraz

The Strelitzia Ridge Shiraz is a South-African Shiraz bottled under the Strelitzia Ridge label. It’s named after the Strelitzia Reginea a.k.a. the bird of paradise flower. A 100% Shiraz and a light and fruity wine that goes well as an aperitif but also matches well with red meat, lamb and spicy dishes.

Colour: deep purple red

Nose: lots of fruit like prunes, cherries, brambles and a hint of pepper

Palate: black fruit with elegant and spicy aromas, a silky mouthfeel and well balanced tannins followed by pleasant finish

This wine has an ageing potential of 2-3 years.
