Quinta das Tapias DO Monterrei Treixadura

The Bodega Quinta des Tapias first opened in 2007 in the Monterrei area and is owned by two very ambitious brothers who ‘returned home’. They own 32 ha of vineyards with a capacity of 1.2000.000 liter. This DO Monterrei is made from the Treixadura (80%) and Godello (20%) grapes from vineyards with a clay soil that are located 400 to 450 meters above sea level. The wine has a light yellow colour with aromas of tropical fruit. The palate is cleand and mineral with apple, lemon, white pepper, anis and a long finish. This wine is best served with fish, seafood, young goat cheese and salads.
