Condesa de Leganza Tempranillo Rosado

Condesa de Leganza is a Spanish wine from La Mancha made by the famous winery Faustino. This Rosado, rosé, variant is a 100% Tempranillo. The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard with different types of soil located about 800 meter above sea level in the North-Eastern part of La Mancha. Due to the warm climate in this region the skins of the grapes get a very dark colour. Therefore they're only in short contact (18 hours) with the juice before the wine is fermented. The wine has a clean rose colour and firm and fresh aromas with some sweet notes of strawberries, cherries and flowers. The palate is firm with lots of fruit and hint of spiciness. Best served with pasta and pizza dishes, salads and tapas.
