This Chateau Mouton Rothschild 2002 is a clean and glittering ruby red wine with aromas of roasted coffee beans followed by some notes of flowers, blackberries and black cherries. The palate is very harmonious with a perfect balance between structured tannins and juicy fruit aromas, notes of vanilla, spices and a hint of pepper together with fresh red fruit. The finish is long and powerful.
The label for this 2002 vintage is designed by Ilja Josifovitsj Kabakov (Russian: Илья Иосифович Кабаков).
