This Chardonnay comes from the Mendoza region where the vines are on average 12 years old. The grapes are mostly harvested between the 4th and 8th of March, manually and in small batches. The result is a pale yellow and fruity Chardonnay with aromas of citrus, grapefruit and green apples. It's fresh and complex and is best paired with seafood, fish and poultry. It has an ageing potential of 1-2 years.
Phebus
The Phebus wines come from the Argentinian winemaker Fabre Montmayou. Hervé J. Fabre, born in the Bordeaux, arrived in Argentina in the early 90’s looking for possibilities to invest in vineyards. He was impressed by the potential and quality of the Malbec grapes which made him decide to build his first vineyard in 1992: Fabre Montmayou. He became one of the pioneers in Argentinian wines made from a single grape variety. The company combines the modern techniques of wine making, the terroir of Mendoza and the “savoir faire” from the Bordeaux for making wines with a unique personality. The grapes come from the best regions in Mendoza and Patagonia.
