Tomatin Cu Bocan Virgin Oak

The Tomatin Cu Bocan Virgin Oak is the second release in the Cu Bocan triology by Toamtin. In this series of peated Tomatin malts there already is the sherry cask. The ‘regular’ Cu Bocan is made of bourbon, sherry and virgin oak casks. This Virgin Oak showcases the effect of new casks on lightly peated malt whisky. A limited edition of 6000 bottles bottled at 46% ABV.

Nose: lively citrus fruits, lime juice and lemon sorbet. Oak driven flavours of vanilla, coconut and candy floss soon emerge with rosewater, red berries, fresh pear and pineapple in the background

Palate: warm pecan pie with vanilla ice cream. Baked apples with cinnamon and toffee and just a touch of smoke

Finish: clean and zingy with pleasant spice
