Glen Moray Warehouse 1 Tequila Cask Finish (55,2%)

The Glen Moray Warehouse 1 Tequila Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt from the Glen Moray distillery bottled in the Warehouse 1 series. This 10 year old release was distilled on the 25^th of August 2014 and it matured in refill casks followed by a finish in tequila casks. They got bottled on the 23^rd of December 2024 at natural cask strength of 55,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited edition small batch release.

Official tasting notes:

Nose: Sweet, soft notes of vanilla custard come to the fore, scattered with currans and toasted almonds. Then aromas of baking spices combine with a peppery note, bringing rich fruit cake to mind.

Palate: A luxuriously oily texture leads into earthy tones, overlaid with freshly picked thyme and a subtle citrus note.

Finish: Intense spice gently fades into lingering notes of aged leather and polished oak.
