Wemyss Sizzling Charcoal (Bunnahabhain) 18yo 1997

The Wemyss Sizzling Charcoal is an 18 years old peated Bunnahabhain bottled by the independent bottler Wemyss. This Islay single malt was distilled in 1997 and matured in a bourbon hogshead. It was bottled end 2015 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 216 bottles.

Nose: smoke, vanilla cream and fresh fruit

Palate: a bbq on the beach with fruit in cream as a dessert

Finish: a long mix of sugar and sea salt
