Wemyss Meadowsweet Mint (Dailuaine) 15yo 2001

The Wemyss Meadowsweet Mint is a 15 year old Dailuaine from 2001 bottled by the independent bottler Wemyss. This Speyside single malt was distilled in 2001 and matured in a bourbon hogshead. It was bottled in 2016 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 359 bottles.

Nose: intensely sweet with elderberries and apple sauce followed by lemonade and wild mint

Palate: fruity with again some apple sauce aromas followed by pear jelly, lemon cream, orange en melon

Finish: sweet and medium long with fresh green fruit aromas
