The Maltman Aultmore 12yo 2008 (53,2%) 6cl sample

The Maltman Aultmore 12 years old 2008 is a Speyside single malt from the Aultmore distillery bottled by the independent bottler The Maltman (Meadowside Blending). This Aultmore was distilled in September 2008 and matured in sherry hogshead 101. It was bottled in October 2020 at natural cask strength of 53,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 532 bottles. This is a 6cl sample.

Nose: vanilla cream with pancakes, butter, dried fruit, freshly sawn wood with berries and cherries

Palate: rich with treacle, nuts and sherry followed by more spicier notes of pepper and sticky PX sherry

Finish: long and warming with white spices and whipped cream
