The Maltman Ledaig 12 years old 2007 is a younger peated Isle of Mull single malt from the Tobermory distillery bottled by the independent bottler The Maltman (Meadowside Blending). This Ledaig was distilled in June 2007 and matured in refill hogshead 700642. It was bottled in September 2019 at natural cask strength of 52,7% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 289 bottles.
Nose: medicinal with tar and peat smoke
Palate: smoked ham, seaweed, oysters, peat smoke and a typical Islay character
Finish: soft with salted caramel, medicinal aromas, liquorice and a hint of Lapsang Souchong tea
