The Maltman Glen Spey 9yo 2009 (55,4%)

The Maltman Glen Spey 9 years old 2009 is a young Speyside single malt from the Glen Spey distillery bottled by the independent bottler The Maltman. This Glen Spey was distilled in August 2009 and matured in refill hogshead 804609. It was bottled in March 2019 at natural cask strength of 55,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 366 bottles.

Nose: lots of vanilla with a hint of fresh sown wood as well as fresh yellow and green fruit

Palate: again vanilla with marzipan and green apple

Finish: long and fresh with lemon zest
