The Grainman Invergordon 9 years old 2007 is a young Highland single grain bottled by the independent bottler The Grainman (The Maltman/Meadowside Blending). It was distilled in August 2007 and matured in a bourbon cask followed by a Pedro Ximenez Finish in cask 901783. It was bottled in January 2017 at natural cask strength of 58,7% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 348 bottles.
Nose: subtle sherry aromas with sweet grains
Palate: matured with toffee, dark chocolate and sherry influences
Finish: medium long with marzipan and cocoa powder
