The Stories of Wind & Wave Ardbeg 15 years old 2004 is a 15 year old Ardbeg single malt bottled by The Character of Islay Whisky Company. It’s bottled in their The Stories of Wind & Wave series. Distilled in 2004 and matured for 15 years in a refill bourbon barrel 11673 before being bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength of 54,9% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colouer.

Nose: Smoked meats and charred oak, with lighter hints of fresh lemon giving it some pep.

Palate: Ginger and black pepper, more meaty malt, a subtle minty hint underneath the salinity.

Finish: Strong black tea, earthy vanilla and Liquorice Allsorts.
