The Electric Coo Series Macduff 12yo 2008 (55,1%)

The Electric Coo Series Macduff 12 years old 2008 is very well sherried Speyside single malt bottled by Mark Watt and David Stirk (Capmbeltown Whisky Company). This Macduff was distilled in August 2008 and matured in an ex-sherry butt. It was bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength of 55,1% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: an old school sherry bomb with Mon Cheri bonbons, eucalyptus, mint and dark chocolate

Palate: dark cherries and berries with scraped wood sticking to the teeth

Finish: long and lingering with ginger and pepper
