The That Boutique-y Whisky Company Islay Malt #2 25yo Batch 1 is the first Islay malt release from an undisclosed distillery bottled by the independent bottler That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Despite they can’t name the distillery of origin they can say the following about it: “We can't name the distillery. But just north east of Port Ellen there is a group of three iconic distilleries. The juice in this bottling is not Laphroaig and it's not Lagavulin...” This is a 6cl sample.

This 25 year old malt was bottled in 2018 at natural cask strength of 48,7% ABV in a 50cl bottle, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 3124 bottles.

Nose: salty sea aromas with shellfish, nectarines, candied lemons, ash, butterscotch, vanilla and tea

Palate: vanilla and toffee with caramel, jam, spicy oak, citrus, sea salt and smoked almonds

Finish: long with sweet peat aromas and saltiness
