North Star Vega 22yo 1996 (43,9%)

The North Star Vega 22 years old 1996 is a sherried blended malt bottled by the independent bottler North Star Spirits. A release in the Cask Series 009 distilled in November 1996 and matured in two Oloroso sherry butts. These have been bottled in July 2019 at natural cask strength of 43,9% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited release of 1205 bottles.

Nose: cinnamon and black pepper with earty aromas pines and dried fruit’

Palate: tobacco, caramelized nuts, dates, toffee and honeycomb

Finish: soft sherry influences with Christmas spices
