North Star The Island Star 11yo OR003 (50%)

The North Star The Island Star 11 years old OR003 is a young Orkney single malt from an undisclosed distillery bottled in the Millennial Range by the independent bottler North Star. This Orkney matured in a refill hogshead for 11 years before being bottled in 2019 at 50% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 300 bottles.

Nose: sweet with caramel and summer apples followed by maritime influences, grass and light smoke

Palate: sweet spices with light chili aromas, flowers and yellow fruit

Finish: a summery beach with smoke, salt and fruit
