North Star Lynch Isle 20yo 2000 (53,3%)

The North Star Lynch Isle 20 years old 2000 is a Highlands single malt from an undisclosed distillery in the Norther Highlands bottled by the independent bottler North Star Spirits. It was distilled in August 2000 and matured in a sherry butt followed by a finish in a Portuguese brandy butt. It was bottled in October 2020 at natural cask strength of 53,3% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 693 bottles.

Nose: super posh cloudy apple juice and grilled grapefruit

Palate: a fist full of almonds, creamy coffee and dark chocolate

Finish: cinnamon spice and waxy caramelized nuts
