North Star Glentauchers 10yo 2008 (59,2%)

The North Star Glentauchers 10 years old 2009 is a young Speyside single malt from the Glentauchers distillery bottled by the independent bottler North Star Spirits. A release from the Cask Series 006 distilled in March 2008 and matured in a refill hogshead followed by a finish in a Bordeaux barrique. This Glentauchers was bottled in September 2018 at natural cask strength of 59,2% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 315 bottles.

Nose: butter with caramel, white chocolate, green fruit and young oak

Palate: a little pungent with cassis, sweet candy, flowers and oak

Finish: sweet and still spicy
