Lady of the Glen GlenAllachie 13yo 2005 (65,1%)

The Lady of the Glen GlenAllachie 13 years old 2005 is a Speyside single malt from the GlenAllachie distillery bottled by the independent bottler Lady of the Glen. This GlenAllachie was distilled on the 25^th of October 2005 and matured in a bourbon hogshead followed by a finish in Marsala wine butt 901062. It was bottled on the 13^th of June 2019 at natural cask strength of 65,1% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 368 bottles.

Nose: floral with vanilla biscuits, milk chocolate, Maltesers and caramelized nuts

Palate: apricot jam on fresh toast with molten butter, vanilla cream and nougat

Finish: dried fruit (mostly apricots) with toasted walnuts and vanilla pods
