Kintra

Kintra Whisky is a Dutch independent bottler. A hobby from Erika Molenaar that turned into an independent bottling company. With the Kintra Single Cask Selection it yearly releases 8 to 10 whisky's personally selected and bottled for Kintra Whisky.

In cooperation with John McDougall (with a past as a manager of Springbank distillery, Balvenie, and Laphroaig) whisky's are selected and then bottled by a small independent bottler near Paisley. The labels provide information about the origin of the whiskey, the cask, the time of distillation and the time of bottling. Whiskeys from Speyside have a red label whiskeys from the Highlands a blue label. For the Lowlands soon become true green color, Islay a brown / gray tint. Each label is unique in the sense that the background consists of a map section that indicates the exact location of the corresponding "distillery".
