The Infrequent Flyers Deanston 10 years old 2009 is a Highlands single malt from the Deanston distillery bottled by the independent bottler Infrequent Flyers (Alistair Walker Whisky Company). This Deanston was bottled in the fourth batch and is release No. 27. It was distilled in 2009 and matured in a bourbon cask followed by a finish in Rye barrel 6349. It was bottled in August 2020 at natural cask strength of 58,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 243 bottles.

Nose: Dried apple and cinnamon spice, backed up by a touch of hickory.

Palate: Flaky pastry, honeycomb, very slightly floral at points, though a hint of chilli-chocolate does bring some spicy warmth.

Finish: Barley, peppermint and nectarine.
