The Infrequent Flyers Aultmore 10 years old 2010 is a Speyside single malt from the Aultmore distillery bottled by the independent bottler Infrequent Flyers (Alistair Walker Whisky Company). This Aultmore was bottled in the fourth batch and is release No. 28. It was distilled in 2010 and matured in refill barrel 800063 before being bottled in August 2020 at natural cask strength of 58,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 240 bottles.
Nose: Honeycomb leads into banana and custard, with notes of nougat and sweet citrus.
Palate: More caramelised nuts and sultana sweetness is balanced by a hit of peppery spice.
Finish: A burst of tart fruit lingers on finish of baking spices.
