Old Malt Cask Glenburgie 1997 16yo (50%)

The Old Malt Cask Glenburgie 16 years old from 1997 is a Speyside single malt bottled in the Old Malt Cask series by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. Distilled in June 1997 and matured in sherry butt HL 10222. Bottled in December 2013 at 50% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 449 bottles.

Nose: vanilla sweet with peach and plums

Palate: much more spicier with toasted toffee and later on lots of soft fruit

Finish: long with green apple
