The Hunter Laing Old & Rare Platinum Selection Tamdhu 25 years old from 1988 is a Speyside single malt and pretty old Tamdhu whisky bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing in their most exclusive range. It was distilled in September 1988 and matured in a Fino sherry butt. It was bottled in October 2013 at natural cask strength of 53,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 287 bottles.
Nose: robust and firm with green apples, spicy raisins and sultanas
Palate: creamy with rich fruit, marzipan and apple crumble
Finish: long and sweet with a hint of oak
