The Hunter Laing Old & Rare Platinum Selection Ardbeg 21 years old 1993 is an Islay single malt bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing in their most exclusive range, Old & Rare. Distilled in October 1993 and matured in a refill sherry hogshead. Bottled in January 2015 at natural cask strength of 56,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 111 bottles.

Nose: elegant and robust, first sweet with vanilla followed by soft fruit and peat smoke

Palate: soft and clean with sweet fruit, nuts and peat

Finish: long and lingering with dry smoke
