The Hepburn’s Choice Mortlach 7 years old 2010 is a young Speyside single malt bottled in the Hepburn’s Choice series by the independent bottler Langside Distillers (Hunter Laing). It was distilled in 2010 and matured in a refill hogshead. It was bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 404 bottles.
Nose: barley with a hint of grist, dried hay, caramel and black pepper
Palate: pear zest, oily hop, spiced rum and vanilla sponge
Finish: subtle with a lingering aroma of sultanas
