Hepburn’s Choice 8yo Dailuaine 2005

The Hepburn’s Choice 8 years old Dailuaine from 2005 is a Speyside single malt bottled in the Hepburn’s Choice series by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. In this series only malts up to 12 years old are bottled at 46% ABV. This Dailuaine was distilled in 2005 and matured in a refill sherry butt. It was distilled in 2013 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 393 bottles.

Nose: earthy with spicy grain, a hint of honey and buttery oak

Palate: hard and fresh with mineral notes, spices, grass and a hint of lemon

Finish: medium long and spicy with white fruit
