The Hepburn’s Choice 11 years old Glen Spey from 2002 is a Speyside single malt bottled in the Hepburn’s Choice series by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. In this series only malts up to 12 years old are bottled at 46% ABV. This Glen Spey was distilled in 2002 and matured in a refill sherry butt. It was bottled in 2013 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 816 bottles.
Nose: biscuits with grass, earthy notes and light toffee
Palate: intense sweet with peach, banana and mint
Finish: crispy and firm
