The Hart Brothers Cask Strength Longmorn 9 years old 2010 for The Netherlands is a younger Speyside single malt from the Longmorn distillery bottled the independent bottler Hart Brothers. A single cask release especially for the Netherlands selected by the Dutch importer High Spirits. This Longmorn was distilled in November 2010 and matured in a bourbon hogshead for most of it’s life followed by a Marsala cask finish. It was bottled in June 2020 at natural cask strength f 55,1% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 250 bottles.
Nose: very elegant and aromatic with sweet spices, white chocolate, aromas of soft yellow fruit and buttercake
Palate: sweet and powerful spicy with Oriental spices, cream toffee, Marsala influences and well balanced
Finish: delicate, sweet and spiced and very long and complex for it’s age
