Hart Brothers Cask Strength Glenburgie 12yo 2008 (55,3%)

The Hart Brothers Glenburgie 12 years old 2008 is a sherried Speyside single malt from the Glenburgie distillery bottled by the independent bottler Hart Brothers. This Glenburgie was distilled in March 2008 and matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt. It was bottled in May 2020 at natural cask strength of 55,3% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release.

Nose: deep, rich cherry aromas with mahagony, almonds, dark chocolate and spices, sweet liquorice and spicy gingerbread

Palate: rich with first fill sherry influences, powerful cherry aromas, syprupy and some light bitters

Finish: burnt sweet aromas, cherry sweet bitters, flambeed strawberries and gingerbread
