Hart Brothers Cask Strength Craigellachie 11yo 2008 (56,5%)

The Hart Brothers Craigellachie 11 years old 2008 is a Speyside single malt from the Craigellachie distillery bottled by the independent bottler Hart Brothers. This Craigellachie was distilled in August 2008 and matured in a refill bourbon barrel. It was bottled in June 2020 at natural cask strength of 56,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: delicate with orange fruit, malt, baked bread and sweet spices

Palate: sweet vanilla sugar glaze on a biscuit cake, Cointreau aromas and orange bitter. With water more soft orange fruit bitters and yellow Fruittella candy

Finish: warming and long with sweet spices, some liquorice bitterness and a hint of apple pie at the end
