Glenburgie 16yo 1998 Gordon & Macphail Reserve Bottled for van Wees

The Glenburgie 16 years old 1998 Gordon & Macphail Reserve Bottled for van Wees is a Speyside single malt bottled by the independent bottler Gordon & Macphail in their Reserve series. A special release for the Dutch importer van Wees. Han and Maurice van Wees together selected refill American hogshead 4034. Distilled on the 20^th of July 1998 and bottled in June 2015 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 294 bottles.

Nose: sweet vanilla with fresh hay, green apple and strawberry aromas, complemented by a delicate floral rose petal note

Palate: sweet initially with ripe banana, kiwi and green apple flavours which combine with a milk chocolate edge

Finish: short to medium with creamy milk chocolate on the tongue
