The Golden Cask Croftengea 7 years old 2010 is a young and peated Highlands single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery bottled in the Golden Cask series by the independent bottler The House of Macduff. This Croftengea was distilled in 2010 and matured in bourbon barrel CM236. It was bottled in 2018 at natural cask strength of 57% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 325 bottles.
Nose: peat smoke, sweetness and sal ammoniac
Palate: like a young Caol Ila or Laphroaig with bonfire, sal ammoniac, liquorice and more peat smoke
Finish: long with liquorice aromas
