Skeleton Key BrewDog’s Boilermaker Series

The Skeleton Key BrewDog’s Boilermaker Series is a blended whisky bottled by the independent bottler Duncan Taylor as a collaboration with BrewDog. A whisky that pairs well with BrewDog’s Jet Black Heart. This blend has a lot of Islay influences and combines well with this Stout. It’s bottled in 2019 at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: dark malt aromas with chocolate, maritime influences, salty liquorice and lemon pie

Palate: lots of malt and burnt caramel with earthy peat, vanilla cream, pineapple and oak

Finish: medium long with lemon, apple sauce, cinnamon and bonfire aromas
