The Old Particular Auchentoshan 18 years old 1997 is a Lowlands single malt bottled by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. Distilled in December 1997 and matured in virgin oak hogshead DL 11203. Bottled in June 2016 at 48,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 278 bottles.
Nose: sweet with chocolate, caramelized pineapple and tinned peaches
Palate: silky with light spices and ripe tropical fruit
Finish: medium long and slightly drying with a hint of oak
