Old Particular Arran 21yo 1996 (52%)

The Old Particular Arran 21 years old 1996 is an older Islands single malt from the Isle of Arran distillery bottled in the Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Arran was distilled in July 1996 and matured in refill barrel DL12357. It was bottled in February 2018 at natural cask strength of 52% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 544 bottles>

Nose: rich and aromatic with vanilla toffee, honey and buttered toast

Palate: salted caramel with citrus and malt sugar

Finish: cough drops with Muscovado sugar, vanilla and later on some oak
