The Old Particular Aberlour 14 years old 2005 is a Speyside single malt from the Aberlour distillery bottled in the Old Particular series by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Aberlour was distilled in November 2005 and matured in refill hogshead DL14009. It was bottled in March 2020 at 48,4% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 351 bottles.
Nose: citric fruits and key lime pie, baked bread, pear drops and barley
Palate: runny honey, almond and pecan nuts with hints of gingerbread
Finish: gently spiced, sweet tangerine, creamy sugar and chocolate gingers
