Douglas Laing Double Barrel Ardbeg/Aultmore

A Double Barrel vatted malt distilled at Ardbeg and Aultmore. A release of independent bottler Douglas Laing that has married these two whisky's into one malt. This is a special marriage of an Islay (Ardbeg) and a Speyside (Aultmore) and a small release of only two casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: sour fruit, with peat and leather

Palate: sweet honey, white spices and smoke with again some fruit

Finish: gentle sweet peat and spiced vanilla cream
