Douglas Laing Double Barrel Bowmore/Craigellachie

The Douglas Laing Double Barrel Bowmore/Craigellachie is a blended malt from Bowmore and Craigellachie bottled by the independent bottler Douglas Laing. From both distilleries one cask was taken and these were married and bottled at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: quite a meaty notes, with touches of barrel char and cooking spice

Palate: more spice (think more baking spice this time - nutmeg and cinnamon), with wafts of leather furniture

Finish: nutty with a little plume of smoke
