The Cooper’s Choice Loch Lomond 10 years old 2009 Muscat Cask Finish is a Highlands single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery bottled by the independent bottler Cooper’s Choice (Vintage Malt Whisky Company). This Loch Lomond was distilled in October 2009 and matured in a bourbon cask followed by a finish in Muscat cask 9526. It was bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength of 52% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 324 bottles.
Nose: rich and fruity with a hint of smoke
Palate: citrus and spices with malt sugars and more gentle smoke influences
Finish: long with sweet aromas, more spices and vanilla and a whiff of smoke
