Compass Box Asyla

The Compass Box Asyla is a blended whisky made of 50% grain (Cambus) and 50% malt (Linkwood, Cragganmore and Glen Elgin) whisky of various ages. A soft, sweet and malty whisky mateured in first fill bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a 6cl sample.

Nose: fresh with light vanilla aromas, a little sweetness of malted grains, perfume, fresh oranges, spicy aromas and mown grass

Palate: balanced with fresh mintu and fruit aromas, flowers, anise, green almonds, pears, red fruit and vanilla

Finish: soft and lightly sweet with fruity and floral aromas with a complex spiciness
