Claxton’s Glen Garioch 8yo 2011 (55,1%)

The Claxton’s Glen Garioch 8 years old 2011 is a young Highlands single malt from the Glen Garioch distillery bottled by the independent bottler Claxton’s. This Glen Garioch was distilled on the 4^th of October 2011 and matured in ruby port cask 2090-2709a. It was bottled in 2020 at natural cask strength of 55,1% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release of 184 bottles.

Nose: fresh grapefruit and spiced dark tea with mint, honey and sweet spices

Palate: Oriental spices with blueberries, honey, tea bitters and some port notes

Finish: toffee, light mint aromas, Oriental tea and slightly drying
