The Chieftain’s Glenrothes 19 years old 1996 is a Speyside single malt bottled by the independent bottler Chieftain’s (Ian Mcleod). It was distilled in January 1997 and matured in a bourbon cask followed by a Pedro Ximenez finish in sherry butt 91821. It was bottled in June 2016 at 50% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 495 bottles.
