Riverflow

The Riverflow is a Speyside single malt from Auchroisk bottled by the independent bottler Morrison & Mackay. A small batch release of 6 casks, a.k.a. 2.500 bottles, and the successor of Islay release The Big Strand. It was bottled at 46% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour.

Nose: vanilla and dark caramel with yellow and orange fruit, a perfume of Oriental spices followed by mineral aromas and expensive perfume

Palate: a real spiced up Speysider with warming oak, light white pepper aromas, ginger bread, nougat and toasted vanilla

Finish: sticky and warming with spices and vanilla
