Carn Mor Strictly Limited Glen Elgin 11yo 2008 (47,5%)

The Carn Mor Strictly Limited Glen Elgin 11 years old 2008 is a heavily sherried Speyside single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery bottled in the Strictly Limited series by the independent bottler Carn Mor (Morrison & MacKay). This Glen Elgin was distilled in 2008 and matured in three PX sherry hogsheads. It was bottled in 2020 at 47,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited release of 1055 bottles.

Nose: warm caramel with sweet stewed fruit, wax, Cola candy and milk chocolate

Palate: old leather, dark chocolate, caramel cream and candied cherries

Finish: rich and warming with lots of red fruit influences
