Cadenhead Small Batch Specialist’s Choice NL Teaninich 10yo 2006 (57,5%)

The Cadenhead Small Batch Specialist’s Choice NL Teaninich 10 years old 2006 is a special release for the Dutch market bottled by the independent bottler Cadenhead. This Highlands single malt was distilled in 2006 and matured in a bourbon hogshead. It was bottled in 2016 at natural cask strength of 57,5% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. A limited single cask release of 252 bottles.

Nose: waxy, grassy notes; pineapple, pears, whipped cream and vanilla

Palate: creamy yoghurt with grapefruit, gooseberries, oatcakes, butterscotch and honeycomb

Finish: fresh cream with red berries and vanilla but with a lingering dry waxy tone
