Glen Elgin 13yo 2006 Adelphi Selection (53,8%)

The Glen Elgin 13 years old 2006 Adelphi Selection is a Speyside single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery bottled by the independent bottler Adelphi. This Glen Elgin was distilled in 2006 and matured in refill bourbon cask 802273. It was bottled in 2019 at natural cask strength of 53,8% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This is a limited single cask release of 274 bottles.

Nose: ripe banana with coconut macarons, canned pears and vanilla

Palate: nougat waffles with lots of vanilla and more tropical fruit

Finish: complex and rich with white chocolate, light spices and a hint of salt
