Säntis Malt Edition Dreifaltigkeit (52%)

Säntis Malt is a Swiss malt whisky made from clean spring water, grains from higher grounds and has matured in up to 130 year old beer casks. At this moment there are five releases available bottled by the Brauerei Locher (Locher brewery). This Edition Dreifaltigkeit is a fantastic mix of flavours of apple wood and some smoky and peaty notes. A cask strength and peated release bottled at 52% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour. This malt declared Europe’s best drink by the "whisky pope".The Brit enjoyed this edition immensely, rating it higher than several hundreds of whiskys from all over the world. 

Nose: aromas of apple wood with notes of smoky peat, bbq and oil

Palate: mild but mouth filling with notes of smoked ham followed by a light caramel aroma and aromas of fruit and spices

Finish: medium long
